An aerial hoop (also know as the lyra) is a circular steel apparatus rigged from the ceiling giving you the opportunity to execute dynamic tricks, spins and swings! The hoop provides the perfect frame for an endless variety of balances, transitions and routines.
Aerial hoop classes are great for building strength, stamina and increasing flexibility and are well paired with pole fitness classes too!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Tight layers are best for aerial hoop. We recommend covering your back and abdominals and also wearing two layers on your legs. A stretchy long sleeve top, leggings and socks would work well 🙂
WHAT LEVEL IS THE CLASS?
These classes are beginner and intermediate level classes and are suitable for complete beginners and those with some basic hoop experience
